In Gold Lame' (that's le-mayy) C. Pic Michel has created an amazing story that is part fantasy, part romance, part comedy and part mystery. All of this wraps up deeper truths about the meaning of life and what makes our dreams and reality. Told in a style reminicient of Tom Robbins and Kurt Vonnegut, it kept me on the edge of my seat until the end, and left me anxiously awaiting the next adventures of these characters. The author has managed to create a wonderful story and at the same time present lessons on life and love that I could use to deepen my own spiritual journey. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys great stories with a great heart.
I am a huge fan of novels that allow me to wonder how they will end and offer surprise page after page. Gold Lamé gave me all of this and so much more! I loved how the author gave me a new "world" to consider and wish that I could tap into it just like the characters in the book. I took this novel on vacation with me and it provided the escape I was looking for and needed! I would definitely recommend this book to those that enjoy exploring possibilities and also like to be kept on the edge of their seats. Hope you enjoy this novel as much as I have!!
