I was part of the last generation to "grandfather" into the world of graphic design through newspaper advertising and illustration in the 1970's. I was still very much in my formative years as the desktop computer made its appearance into the workplace. I worked with this new equipment in it's rawest stages to develop the first graphic design and media department ever for a worldwide marketing research company. I graduated this cutting edge school of hard knocks to specializing in logo and collateral material development through the early 1990's. While I essentially retired after a 15-year career in marketing research and advertising; I still offer my techno skills to some individuals and non-profits through consultations, design of websites, newsletters and videos at an affordable last-millenium rate. Since my life doesn't depend on it, I'm discriminating about who I work with based on compatibility of style and interests. It makes for a great working relationship.
